We are currently seeking remote drafters, with the possibility of transitioning to on-site work as project needs evolve. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Survey Calculations – Utilize Civil 3D to create 3D linework, surfaces, alignments, profiles, sub assemblies, gradings, and corridors (roads, rail, etc.). Prepare design files for survey field crews.
- Survey As-Builts & Data Management – Integrate survey as-builts and UAV datasets to track quantities and provide project deliverables.
- Collaboration with Teams – Work with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders from the project’s start to completion. Support design teams and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Field Support – Assist with managing a team of surveyors performing a variety of industrial and civil survey tasks.
- Client & Team Communication – Actively communicate with clients, project teams, and supervisors to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Quality Control & Compliance – Participate in the ISO 9001 Quality Program and maintain inline standards to ensure project quality and safety.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience – 5-10 years of experience as a CAD Technologist, with a focus on civil and surveying drafting.
- CAD Expertise – Proficient in Civil 3D, including corridor creation, grading, and managing large data sets.
- Surveying Experience – Knowledge of industrial and civil surveying tasks, including working with UAV datasets.
- Attention to Detail – Strong skills in technical drafting, quantity tracking, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Excellent Communicator – Clear communication with clients, engineers, and project managers to align project needs and expectations.
