Under the supervision of project managers, supervisors or surveyors, the Survey Assistant’s main responsibilities include (but not limited to):

·        Assisting Surveyors with daily safety paperwork.

·        Assisting the Surveying team with equipment set-up and maintenance.

·        Ensuring Survey vehicle and equipment are taken care of, and well maintained.

·        Install survey stake lines and survey control monuments.

·        Working 10-12 hour days.

 

·        High School Diploma is required.

·        Civil Engineering Diploma or Certificate is considered an asset.

·        Team orientated mindset, with the ability to be autonomous and organized.

·        Good physical condition.

·        Valid Driver’s License.

·        Available to work on different shifts and schedules.

·        Strong attention to detail and problem solving.

·        Ability to adapt to changing work conditions and schedules on short notice.

·        Ability to listen, learn, and apply as instructed by immediate supervisor.
